Embarking on a 30 Day Writing Challenge.
I am intrigued and excited about a thirty day writing challenge by National Novel Writing Month.
I know the following topics aren’t novel ideas, but click on what you would like to see me publish. Here is a breakdown of the projects. You have 48 hours to cast your vote. Thanks for your input.
The Indonesian Food App
Eating street food is a way of life in Indonesia. It is a cheap way to experience culture through food. I propose an app with high resolution pictures of street food, the ingredients, and the English translation.
The House that Raised Me
I have been thinking a lot about my Jamaican childhood. There is an African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” My sisters and I were raised by a village of extended family and my grandmother’s rum customers. My grand-mother was so enterprising that she opened a rum bar in our yard to pay for school fees. She also sold chickens. Rum and chickens paid for my education. The characters that came in and out of our homes helped to shape my outlook on life.
A Year in Indonesia
I took a leap of faith and moved to Indonesia to teach English. I quit my job, donated all my furniture and winter clothes to the Salvation Army and moved half way across the world. The e-book would be a travel memoir on my life here. The trials, successes, cultural interactions and life in the classroom.

Best wishes on your endeavor!!!
I say #2 and #3 or whatever story you feel most compelled to tell!
I agree with April. Either one, i am sure it will be interesting.
Thanks so much!
