Award winning filmmaker, Diana O’Gilvie’s work is driven by her global curiosity and distinctive approach to authentic story-telling.
Armed with a Master’s Degree in film from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Art’s degree in English from York College, Diana has coupled this academic knowledge with independent film experience on the international stage. Her award winning documentary”Chasing Daddy” (Best New Cinema 2011, Worldwide RF Festival) and “Does Hair Matter?” have been screened in New York, London, Jamaica garnering much praise.
As a writer her work has appeared in USA Today, Matador Network, Suite 101, Orlando Examiner, and Dream Wedding Magazine. Her blog is regularly syndicated by leading Jamaican sites http://www.Jamaicans.com and http://www.YaadInfo.com.
Diana is an avid photographer and global traveler.
